I've been reading about a technical bulletin about getting the engine and transmission computer reflashed, and reprogramed, or a software upgrade. I found an SCT tuner, can I use it to reflash, and upgrade the system without having to deal with the dealership.

 

A handheld performance tuner is not the same thing as using a factory tool (DRBIII+ in this case). Two completely different beasts.
