Default 2003 sx 2.0 stalling

Hi guys, I've been searching through the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for.

My SIL has an 03 SX 2.0 base. About a month ago she told me it was running rough, hard to start at times etc. Pulled the codes and the CPS was showing bad. Replaced the camshaft sensor and things seemed ok for a few days. But then she said it was starting to almost stall at stop signs, red lights and as she would try to pull away there was no acceleration / power. Only code it is throwing now is p0441.

The problem is very inconsistent, and I tried to have it duplicate but couldn't.. The wife had it for a drive yesterday and it stalled out at a parking lot while accelerating, and said it would bog out like it wasn't getting fuel when pulling away from a stop sign. I pulled the IAC valve today and it didn't seem to crusty (What i could see anyway) and gave it a cleaning. after a series of start / stops i had it start to bog down on accelerating from a stop 2 times. Did not stall but had some hesitation. Again only codes I see are 0441

any ideas on where I start next? Would the purge solenoid cause this? there are only 109000 KMS on the motor

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

When was the last time the plugs and wires were changed? Plugs should be changed every 48,280.3 Kilometers (30,000 Miles) and wires every 96560.64 Kilometers (60,000 Miles, or, every other plug change).

I swapped those out as well. Threw a P0171 yesterday. Unplugged the upstream O2 sensor to see if there was a difference. Seemed to work fine, no sluggishness or hesitation. Idle smoothed out at stops. Asking its shot but couldn't track one down yesterday may need to order one in

So decided to tell her to take it in for a scan instead of throwing parts at it, came back Coolant temp sensor, and oil pressure switch, go figure. Grabbed the two of them and did the coolant temp sensor tonight. Is there any posts listing the how to for the oil pressure switch on here?

Fine by me. I see no point in wasting money to change things prematurely just because, but to each their own. In regards to the transmission fluid/filter change, I personally say 48,000 mile intervals with these crap automatic transmissions.

those tranny wouldnt be bad if people would change there fluids and filter before the 54000 mark..every since GM came out say you can run your spark plugs up to 100000,everyone thinks the tranny would too without fluid and filter change..alot of p..s poor maintenance and miss leading cause these problems...Wished the trannys where built like a 727..take a beatting and keeps on coming back..

Isn't the fuel filter part inside the tank on these?
