Default New to here, own a 2005 Dodge Neon sxt

Never was aware that there was a Dodge Forum, just got on it by chance and decided that I'ld sign up for it.Used to have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 and had to sell it due to over $500.00/month in gas usage.Travel an average of 400-500 miles/month to alot of appts. to doctors, hospitals and tests.I miss my truck like crazy but I love the Neon for the money I save and also for the way it drives.
Trying to find some specs on the size of the radio so that I can figure out what size of aftermarket cd/dvd player I can put into it.If anyone can give me some imput,I'ld greatly appreciate it!And,also where I can check to see if there have been any recalls on my car/what they are also.
Thanks....John

I'm sure the younger crowd can be more helpful with the radio size, but I do know with an adapter kit you can install just about any stereo you want to. For the recalls; if you scroll up on this page and look to the right, you can click on "TSB & Recalls" to see a preview of recalls for your car, but there's nothing major.

Welcome! The aftermarket radio will be a single DIN radio with the adapter bracket. No recalls that I'm aware of; some TSBs though.

if you're looking for an in-dash im not sure the size but any regular aftermarket cd player will fit, just get a mounting kit for the car (I think like $15)
