ok i had to take my neon to the shop it has been there like a month and the timing belt was broke and monday this week when they finally got to working on my car. They said that the valves were warped so it is going to cost me 500 dollars.that is the update and thanks for all ya'll help. The reason i give in and took it to the shop is cause my mom got tired of me being by my self working on it so to give her piece of mind i took it. And it is hard to be a mom and work on a car and run a farm all at the same time.

 

$500 isn't bad though if they are replacing the water pump, tensioner, valves (or entire head), timing belt, head gasket kit, the oil, coolant, ect. It would cost almost 500 in just parts.
