Not sure if B&M has made it into mass production but I heard about them making one a while back. B&M always have good stuff.

Yeah, pretty sure B&M has one. I have no personal experience with it on a neon. I have the mopar SRT4 short throw in mine which I think is awesome. Its an excellent piece and its fairly easy to install, much better shifting then stock shifter. I'm sure there are other short throws out there but the SRT4 short throw is the only one I have used.

w/ the mopar kit do you have to use the srt shifter ball ar will aftermarket stay secure, because i don't like the srt ball, it seems that slippage is possible when your hands are sweaty. Does B&M make an assembly or just the shifter rod? Also, how hard is it to install booger bushings?

I believe the B&M is just a shifter rod. The mopar kit is the entire assembly. Yeah, you can use an aftermarket ball, I have a momo on mine right now because I ripped the stock mopar ball off ripping back into 2nd gear. Booger bushings aren't that hard to install. They really firm up the shift. However there is less room for error when putting it into a gear. It has to be dead on or else you won't get it in gear. When you get it in gear you "know" its in gear. Its kind of hard to explain...but thats about the best way I can describe it.

Theres a pic of the mopar short throw with MOMO shift **** in my car.
