Hello everyone, I am new here, looks like a great forum!

My dumb question is...

Why can't I find any replacement carpets for 2nd generation Neons? I am restoring an '03 SXT and I have gone Google search after Google search but all I can find are carpets for '95 thru '99's? You would think, with the thousands and thousands of these cars still out there that these carpets would be pretty easy to find.
If anyone has any prior success with finding aftermarket carpets (or even decent used ones) for my model year, I'd be most appreciative, thanks. I did try the search function first, but had no luck.

I guess I'm up poop creek... haha. Oh well, who needs a carpet as long as there's a floor!

 

Junkyard/Recycler. Not a big aftermarket for 00-05 Neons.

 

My first thought was JC whitney, as I remember ordering carpet for my 79 mercury capri, back in the 80's through their magazine . I just did a search on their website, and it doesn't look like they have custom formed carpet, but they do sell carpet by the yard for vehicles, so you could probably fashion something pretty decent if you are on a budget. I'f not, it looks like summit racing has complete kits for $200; and ebay for about $150

Those are carpet floor mats... I thought you were looking to replace the entire carpet. Were you looking for just mats, or the entire carpet?

 

I am looking for an entire carpet. I think he misunderstood me. I think it's really odd that the 1st generation Neon carpets are readily available, but the 2nd generation carpets are apparently not even made. All the used ones I have checked out so far were nasty!
