Trying to find my coolant temperature sensor. All the images I get from the book are incorrect so can someone please post a pick from their engine bay of where this coolant temperature sensor is? I can find a video but they are all the dohc neon where as I have the SOHC neon engine any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

 

location on my 2000: 1. find the PCV valve on the rocker cover. 2. just below is the cam position sensor and just below to the left (if you are looking from the right hand fender) is the coolant sensor. If I remember right the terminal should put out about 5 VDC if power is getting to the unit.

 

As sbhawaiian said, it is on the driver side of the head, just down and to the left of the camshaft position sensor.
