thermostat torque spec?

thermostat torque spec?

Searched and I found about 5 different specs. One was 9.2 ftlbs, 19ftlbs and like several in the 100 inlbs. Anybody have a link to where I can find the correct torque for a 2005 Neon SXT with the 2.0?

Torqued to 9 ftlbs. Seems to hold so far. Figured the lower was the better for starting out.

ive never even torqued mine just snug with my deep socket & ratchet

the old German torque scale is good for little parts you know German right just make it goodntight
