So, here's my problem: Went to start my 2000 Neon tonight and it died, all lights on dash working. When I turned the key off and tried to start it again, I had absolutely no lights or anything (no dome, headlights, brake lights, dash lights, etc.) No power to anything at all. I thought maybe the battery was dead, but even connecting jumper cables resulted in nothing. It seems like the battery has juice but it is not getting to the rest of the vehicle. Any ideas on what is causing this? Car gave me no signs of any issues up to today. Please help as I need to get this up and running as quickly as possible.

 

I would start with having the battery load tested. A severly dead battery can't be jumped.
