Think its possible to drive a few minutes? With christmas , I cant get to it right a way.

I meant about what he said about swapping parts if it would be cost effective. You are buying the complete TB either way, so unless they are going to credit you money for some springs and pieces of plastic, why bother? The sensors are a given though.

As I said earlier,I was looking for a cause of a code generated 1 week after getting car fixed at dealer for a bad p/s idler pulley. I know found the cause of the code a broken hose from valve cover to under intake manifold. Plus I now find that the mech for dealer put the accordian hose between throttle body and intake on backwards and did't tighten the clamps enough, car was reving higher which was what the code said. Also lost a captured nut on the air cleaner box and just stuck the screw in the hole. Unbalieveable!

Well I forgot about J B weld, at all. So for now its fixed ,just waiting for a code to resurface if at all. Thanks for the info.
