Trans Fluid affected by WaterPump/TimingBelt change?????
Hi everyone,
Recently had my water pump and timing belt changed on my '01 Neon.
After having that done I noticed that the transmission was jumping into gear.
I check the trans fluid and found it to be extremely low. I had to add 1 1/2 quarts of ATF and that corrected the problem.
My question is..... is it necessary to drop the transmission when doing the water pump/timing belt job?
