my friend has a 1998 Dodge Neon Se......he totalled it a few weeks ago.....i got his pacesetter header off the car, screaming demon coil pak and crane cam fire wires......just wondering if the throttle body he has on his car will work for my car as well....??? and also will his fuel rail work on mine to....? thanks

 

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon Se

 

From what I've seen for the 1st Gen Neons, it looks like it wont work on the 2nd Gen. The throttle body I have for my 2nd Gen has a totally different shape than the ones on the 1st.

Which throttle body is it? Do you have a cold air intake?

 

It's also a possibility the intake manifolds are different on your car and his.

 

Not 100% sure, but I don't think it will work. Any thing will work if you have the time and patience to do it, but spen the coin and buy the right one is my opinion.

 

I have a short ram intake that was custom made from the intake from my friends 1998 neon.....from what the throttle bodies look like they look pretty much the same......

 

Take a picture of the engine.

If you already customized the intake from the 1st Gen. to fit your 2nd gen. it's most likely possible it can be done.

 

If he has a 1st gen intake runner, then yeah 100% it will fit.
