Yesterday, while driving at a slow speed (fortunately) the passenger side rear wheel locked up. I was able to free it by applying the brake and emergency brake several times while driving slowly.


What could be causing this?

 

Your brake locked up. Pull the wheel off and inspect your brakes.

 

defective emergency brake cable may not be releasing well, inspect the cable also check your wheel cylinder and brake hose in the rear that feeds both rear wheels, that is unless you have 4 wheel ABS.. then it won't be so simple
