Default Idle at stop drops to 500 rpm. Car shakes.

I noticed something today while driving. It's done this since I have owned the car. A few months. When you are at a stop light the rpm drops from 700 to 500 and the car shakes. If I just nudge the steering wheel an inch or so in either direction the rpm goes back up to 700 rpm and stays there. I did replace the switch in the steering rack because it was bad. I'm wondering if the engine idle solenoid could be bad. I have replaced all my mounts. Any thoughts?

What engine? How many miles? Last tune up? Automatic or manual?

Hey man, could it possibly be the Inlet Air Control/IAC Valve? My neon had a "surging" fit a while back and I replaced that as well as the Throttle Body Position/TBP Sensor. Car ran like a champ after until 200 miles later the timing belt broke.... Hope this helps!
