Yeah, that poor little Neon 2.0L can only take 225-250 HP before the stock pistons and rods start going. Even with forged internals, upgraded clutch, stock valvetrain, stock intake manifold, stock PCM, stock tranny, and full interior, Len could only manage a mere 500ish HP out of his car as the test vehicle for Chill Factory, don't think the car ever broke out of the mid-high 11's in the 1/4. And even after finally putting on a few other aftermarket goodies, a bit of nitrous for faster spool up, I think it was still choking out a measly 600+ HP (still full interior). Plus the entire car was worthless since it was roasting the slicks down the strip in all 5 of its 3.94 final drive gears, making it that much more difficult to hit low 10's consistently, particularly bouncing off the 142 mph rev limiter... Anyone with half a brain would have bought a Hemi or something starting with "SRT" and been done with it.

You can pick up Hahn Racecraft or Chill Factory kits from Howell Automotive and Modern Performance, or directly from the manufacturers' sites. Both are reliable systems now. Stick with an intercooled version for engine longevity.
