Default 2003 Neon parking light bulb replacement

Trying to figure out how to change the parking light bulb that is below the bumper on the passengers side. Any suggestions. There is 1 screw on the front of the lens but when I take it out it doesn't do anything. Also looks like you can't get to it directly under the front bumper. Any help?

So 153 views and no one has ever had to change the bulb out?

The Owner Manual shows how to do it. The headlight assy must be removed to get access to the parking/turn signal lamp as it's all one assy.

Not on my car. I have 2 lights on the bottom of each side of the bumpers.

On mine those are the fog lights below the bumper.

IIRC, you just reach up from under the bumper and twist the socket out.

Not that easy. literally turned out to be a 2 hour job. There is a panel under the bumper that has to be removed. Then there is not enough space to get your hand in back of the socket to remove the lamp. And I have small hands. So now you have to remove the whole assembly which has 2 nuts on the back. Push it out the front. Replace the lamp and reinstall. leave it to the morons that design these cars. Hey maybe you could have a couple screws on the lens and a gasket to make it easier.

Neither of my Neons and that panel intact I guess. That and it's been...4 or 5 years since I last owned a Neon. But yeah, they design it messed up. On my newer cars, to change say the headlight bulbs, the whole front fascia has to come off.
