raditor fan ds not coming on. only redlines when ac is turned on
DS radiator fan doesn't come on. At idle, sometimes the temperature will red line when the ac is turned on. Then turn a/c off the temp. goes right back to normal. (Looking at fan not coming on as the problem.)
When I start the car no fans come on. When I turn on the ac the ps fan comes on. Turn a/c off fan goes off. 20 mins. later, 90 degs. high humidity Ds fan still doesn't never comes on. I switched the two fan relays, relays ok. I ohms tested the ds fan, it's ok. I got 2.17 volts at the coolant sensor with warm engine. I got an OPEN LOOP reading at this fan.
Open loop Is that a bad ground at relay to fan?
At what temp does the ds fan turn on?
Now what?
