Default 2003 dodge neon blinking check engine light

please help, just recently bought a used 2003 dodge neon, the only thing we had to replace was the motor mounts, since then when parked or stopped my car will shake a bit but nothing to crazy. Then this morning as I was driving to work the check engine light was blinking on and off while in park and as I was driving, the only thing I could pick up while it was doing that was it was squeaking consistently and not loud. I have not took it in considering it just happened this morning, does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Blinking check engine light is indicative of a serious misfire. Continuing to drive it with a blinking check engine light can lead to serious engine damage.

So until I know what the misfire is there is no way to know what is going on? Can I drive it down the block without too much damage being done to get a diagnostic on it?

So it has a misfire in cylinder 1(P0301) I am getting spark plugs and new wires tonight to see if that helps the problem, but my other concern is the squeaking that is happening when my car is accelerating? is that because I am having a misfire or another problem? it sounds like a belt of some sort?

Probably. Get the misfire corrected first. Then move on to the next issue.
