Exclamation Need help with my A/C

I have a 2003 neon. When I turn the A/C on it just blows air. The line is full of refrigerant and I am not sure where to go from here.

Would like to have it working for those super hot and humid days so my little one isn't sweating to death.

Any help is appreciated.

How have you verified it is properly charged? Is the compressor running?

I used the A/C Pro gauge that attaches to the refrigerant bottle. I believe the refrigerant was at about 90 psi but I cant quite remember I do know that the pressure was in the "green" area for the gauge. How do I know if the compressor is running?

I have never worked on or troubleshooted an A/C system before this.

I suggest you look up some videos on you tube regarding automotive ACsystems to educate yourself a bit. It is not something easily explained over the Internet. The pulley on the compressor turns all the time. When the clutch engages, the compressor itself will run. The RPM's may dip a bit, that's one way to tell besides just looking at it. The system may still be undercharged, or over charged at this point. The only way to really tell is to put a set of automotive AC gauges and read the high and low side pressures. Your best bet is to take it to a shop and have them test the system. Most places will offer a free AC system performance check, then you will know what the exact problem is.
