My daughter told me yesterday her AC went out so today I get a look and the high pressure sensor was broken off. My question is if I get another sensor and remove the old one will it evacuate the system charge? I assume it will but want to make sure first before I tear into it.

 

high pressure switch on the compressor no...must be evacuated
low pressure switch; depends on which engine you have
2.4 on the expansion valve...no must be evacuated
2.0 on the accumulator..yes...just unscrew
