Default Should I Get New Headers?

Ok, I know the R/T has upgraded performance engine parts compared to the SXT and SE models which make it a "High Output" engine, so my question is, should i even consider replacing my headers and get different ones, or should i stay with the stock R/T headers?
I've read lots of posts on the forums about SXT and SE owners replacing headers, but havent found any for us few R/T owners.
Thanks

A good performance header will give you a few ponies over the RT manifold.

Yes; upgrading to a header like the Borla or Pacesetter will help. A Therman R&D muffler will also help your RT. It'll give u about 4 hp with lbs of torque at the wheels.

Well I already have a different exhaust system, so that takes care of one thing. I noticed that the Borla headers are almost $500, the Pacesetters are only $150, and the OBX is $250. Which one is actually the best for my money? I mean I know Borla products are excellent b/c i have a Borla exhaust on my neon, but are the headers *worth* paying $500??

To some degree you get what you pay for. The top of the line stuff is always a little over priced because people want the best. The borla is not worth $500, but it outperforms and out lasts the pacesetter and OBX

I'd say go for the Borla header; they'll last forever. Post some pictures of your car, mainly the Borla cat-back.

Thats my opinion. Buy the good stuff and buy it once. I have the pacesetter for mine, but I only got that cause I expect to put a turbo on and the header would be useless. Saved me like $300

Do not get the borla header it wont give you any gains it is just shinny r/t header. I would get a long tube header that would give you the most gains. Btw I own 03r/t too

A long tube is always going to be better. A long tube with a 4 into 2 into 1 collector is gonna be THE BEST. But that brings emmision problems into the picture and some people don't wanna deal with that.
