It eliminates the cat so it won't pass emissions in any state.

 

Would a catback exhaust fit with long tube headers? A friend said you could just weld the exhaust straight to the headers.
I don't think I'm gonna have a problem with emmissions. Salem, OR doesn't even have emissions laws.

 

Mine bolted right up on my 98. I have the kirk racing long tube and pacesetter cat-back. But it should be real close.

I have the 98 r/t it has the AIRMASS header and I'd say its well worth it to change em out.
