I have a 2002 Neon base model w/2.0L an 5 speed manual. I would like to replace my SOHC head with a DOHC head. My first question about the swap is, are there any differences between the DOHC head from a 2.4L SRT motor, and the older DOHC head from the 2.0L engines, like different cams or valves?

Second question is, if I don’t have access to another complete car or motor, what’s every part I will need to purchase to complete this swap? Or if anyone could direct me to the correct post for this job, as I am having trouble finding out what I’m looking for!

I have read most all of the threads below about head swap, but from what I can tell, those are targeted towards the 1st Gen Neon. I just need to know what’s the right way to do this.
