HEY, I WAS JUS WONDERIN, I GOT A SECONG GEN NEON WITH POWER STERING AND A/C, CAN I TAKE OFF THE BELT THAT GOES TO BOTH OF THESE ACCESORIES, THIS WAY I CAN PUT IT BACK ON WHEN I WANT TO HAVE PW STERING AGAIN? AND WHEN I DONT I WILL HAVE THE HP GAIN?

 

You can an a new Manual Rack will be availible shortly, so you can steer it at low speeds easier.

 

You could do that although its a lot of work to keep taking off and putting the belt back on for a HP or 2.

 

you could just install an underdrive pulley so that your A/C, water pump, and power steering won't draw as much power from your engine. I can't recall the manufacturer (I THINK it's unorthodox) they make a two part pulley where you can remove the outer ring from it so that your accessories don't draw your engine AT ALL. Once done your racing you can re-fit it back on to your car so you can make use of your accessories again.

 

Two peice pulleys come apart once and awhile, that is the draw back to them.
