I'm trying to find a decent exhaust system fo my gf's car. I really dont care for anything loud and obnoxious, looking for something with a nice deep tone. What would ya'll recommend? Its is a 2004 yellow neon sxt

 

magnaflow performance...or vibrant

Thermal is probably the best system on the market. I have used alot of them on my personal cars. I have also used Brospeed which is another quality exhaust.

 

does anyone know a place where one could listen to some of these exhausts on different applications? Sound really does matter to me, and I don't want to install a muffler that's going to give me a growl at idle; nor do I want any gurgling or popping.

 

I've been searching alittle and it seems that a stock srt-4 exhaust is cheap with a decent sound. does this sound like a good option.

 

Ditto I'd go with one of those. Vibrant is ok though

 

SRT-4 exhausts from what ive heard are obnoxious on naturally aspirated motors...

 

How does the monza exhaust sound?

 

The Monza/Pacesetter exhaust sounds great. The sound is far better than the quality.

The Vibrant sounds too much like a phart can to me.

The SRT exhaust sounds ricey and loud on a reg Neon. The reason is b/c the turbo quiets the exhaust on the srt.

Go w/ an exhaust that's made for the car. I'd say go with the Borla or Thermal.
