I have replaced one side but not the other yet. I also noticed that I do have a small transmission leak. It looks like it is coming from either the gasket on the pan or the drain plug. The noise is still there but I’m hoping when I change the other side that it goes away.

Ok, good feedback & good find on the tranny fluid leak. Keep an eye on the fluid level so it doesn't get low & cause mischief, until you can correct the leak. The factory had my tranny pan sealed with RTV, so if you have a gasket on yours it sounds like the tranny pan has been off & a gasket was used, like I did about 10 years ago, instead of resealing with the RTV, which is a a mess to clean up.
Anyway, I decided to try a re-useable Felpro felprene tranny pan gasket & have found the pan fasteners have needed periodic retorquing to stop weeps as the gasket compressed over time. So if you think its a gasket leak, try Evenly retorquing the 10mm pan fasteners to 165 inch / lbs. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Since you have a pan gasket, consider doing the fastener retorquing in a crisscross fashion, in torque steps, so as to not warp the pan lip where the gasket resides. I do mine in 50 in / lb steps, so to Evenly sneak up on the final setting, as less chance to warp the pan gasket sealing surface & cause more mischief.
