If you haven't bought new mounts yet, get all three. If the upper or lower is bad, the other isn't far behind. When I replaced the mounts on my PT Cruiser, they didn't look bad until I pulled them. The one in the middle is the most difficult to get to, but mine was still good so I left it in and replaced the upper and lower mounts. Is your transmission mount on the drivers side still good? I got mine off Ebay.

I've been thinking (and now my head hurts) it might be a good idea to go to Youtube and watch videos on replacing the mounts. I'm not too proud to watch a video on someone else doing something. It saves a lot of time and I sometimes pick up a little trick to make things easier.

You may have an easier time than I did on my PT Cruiser. (Tall version of the Neon) My large hands and thick forearms had trouble working in the tight clearance on the passenger side of the engine. Be sure to put a wide block of wood on your jack when you lift and lower the engine. You don't want to break that dainty oil pan.

Thank you for reminding me about that piece of wood that I need to put on that Jack otherwise I would have not done that so thank you. ☺️
