I have the red Optima battery. I believe it costed me around $130 dollars and I believe the yellow one is around $30 dollars more. The yellow one is more powerful and it's better for cars with sound systems. I should have bought the yellow one b/c I have a powerful sound system in my car. They're great batteries. The only problem I'm having is my battery is weak b/c I have an AFX underdrive pulley. The aftermarket underdrive pulley sends less power to the alternator; and the alternator charges the battery (on top of that I have a sound system).

Gary: I have the AFX underdrive pulley. I've heard that aftermarket underdrive pulleys don't like powerful sound systems b/c of the batteries. That statement made sense to me b/c the aftermarket underdrive pulleys are designed to send less power to the alternator. Do you have an AFX underdrive pulley with a powerful sound system in your Neon and does it make your battery go low?

They have been tested with a 1200 watt system without any problems.
