I own a 05 SXT.

My Mods:
Cold Air Intake, camshaft, 2.5" SRT4 (borla)exhaust-all from Mopar
21lb accel fuel injectors
Borla header

So here's my question... the last mod to my car was the Borla exhaust, I had the header, CAI injectors ect before and had no issues. Since the exhaust has been on, I've seen a little sparatic engine temps. Nothing too high, it's never been above the first mark above the cold line but I've never had any issues before. Is that abnormal or did I just not notice it before?

Its a little abnormal try a radiator flush and make sure you fill your coolant levels completely so there is no air...Your Pms might be coming up to so judging by miles you need to replace timing, water pump,etc. But IDK how many miles you have so couldnt tell you for sure.

 

It has nothing to do with the exhuast. I would flush the radiator.

 

I've got a whopping 6500 miles on it right now... so ya wouldn't think it was a service issue. I didn't think it could be anything with the exhaust, unless there was some kind of efficiantcy issue(scavanging... ect.) The part that bothers me is my second service was JUST before i had this issue. Almost makes me wonder if the tech's at my garage here smacked something or what... maybe it was something I had nothing to do with and no control over. I'm gonna get under the hood tonight and see if I can find anything.

 

Generally if it was running good before someone touched the car and it isn't now, thats what did it. I would bring it back to them and ask them whats up.
