sorry been super busy haven't had a ton of time to even mess with my car. If I have to drive it I just try not to go far. My fiance drives our other car but it doesn't have ac right now. We took it to church and it died pulling into my driveway. But anyways this weekend I'm going to go at it but I need it fixed so I can start working again.

Still no codes showing up. I did notice when he tried to restart right away (hubby was driving) the speedo whens all the way to 190 which is the highest it goes .

The reason I keep asking about the dash warning lights is that they can give a good trouble shooting clue. If the dash warning lights Aren't lit when it stalls, or when your about to crank it for a restart after the sudden stall, as ol' grouch has supposed, look to the computer power relay, while its in one of its no start fits until it cools down mode. Try swapping the computer power relay out for a like known good one not needed to run the engine. If that works, replace the suspect power relay.

If that doesn't work, look for spark going missing & test for that as suggested in post 38 & let us know what you find.

I've been randomly taking my car on short trips that I know I should make it back from. Today hubs was at work and I had to make a quick trip to the pharmacy and they have a horrible in and out part of the driveway. Its super high and the road is really low. Well I always go super slow. Well today I go to pull out and it sounded like it barely scrapped like usual and the car instantly just shut off. All my lights turn on and everything. But it don't even try to turn over. The obd2 won't connect either.

Ok, the scan-tool not wanting to connect suggests you put the ASD (Automatic Shut Down) power relay on the suspect list, as it'll kill power to the computer & fuel injectors if it acts out & opens up. Relays are a common problem part, so automatically go on a suspect list with your kind of problem.

Its under hood in the power distribution center, located drivers side in front of the spring coil tower, next to the drivers side fender.
Use your owner manual to to locate it & take the cover off & look at the component diagram inside the lid to locate the ASD power relay.

If the vehicle is in one of its shutdown fits, try wiggling & or thumping the ASD relay to see if it'll wake up & immediately let the engine be restarted. If it does, swap it with a like / same part number, known good power relay not needed to run the engine & see if that solves the intermittent stall / restart / run problem. If it does, replace the old ASD power relay with a good quality new part & return any swapped out relay to its original place. More thoughts for consideration, let us know what you find.

I wonder if a wire, hot or ground, might be damaged.
