Default Buying a 2001 Neon !!!!

Hello, I'm going to buy a 2001 Neon. It has 100,000 miles on her, but everything else is in good shape. I'm planing on making alot of road trips with this car, so do u think it can handle the long distance driving with so much milage on her already. Please reply fast .. i'm in need of advice .. ! thnx

i dont know thats alot of miles id take it to the shop and get it checked out befor id take any trips

timing belt and water pump due at 105k miles. If either of those go, it's plenty expensive, and you don't want it to happen on a road trip (from experience...).

Just remember to replace not just take a look at it...service records really help as well. Also check plugs wires...brakes...etc to get em all up to date and put 100000 more miles on it.

definately check it out. That is a ton of miles! what did they do, go from cali to new york every year till 03?

anyways, if they let you, check out the service manual and see if they have kept up with all the check-ups. Its a probably a pretty nice deal too, for have 100k miles your probably getting it for 4-5 maybe 6 g's right? Good luck.
