Default Home Made Intake

hey i decided 2 cheep out on an intake and instead of going out and buying a short ram cuz i didnt want CAI cuz of snow and ****, i made my own. i didnt put in any piping or anything, because basically i have a K&N filter running off my throttle body. i did have 2 make a bracket to hold it up because if i didnt my throttle cable could fall off or something worse, but i was wondering what you guys thought of it

u shold put the vavle cover breather on the actually valve cover the hose comes off if you pull hard enough and then there is a little nipple coming off the valve cover in the back and the left side, it looks a lot cleaner instead of being on a plastic hose

yea i was going to do that but it didnt seem that there was a way 2 put the breather directly on the valve cover. that was actually the only thing that bothered me about the whole setup. thanks ill try doing that tomorrow

You can replace the piping after the throttle body with normal 3" intake tubing with like a 7" piece for like 12 dollars from any performance shop.

That looks almost exactly like my old setup. But I finally broke down not long ago and bought a K&N CAI...which seems to be much better then what I had before.
