Did anybody see the neon in SCC this month... nice clean looking ride with over 400 hp[sm=drooldude.gif] I think i'd take that over an srt 4 anyday...

 

If you take an SRT-4 and put all the money they put into that Neon you'll get an even better product with an easy to get 500 hp. SRT-4s are still better.[X(]

 

See if you can find the link to that article; I'd like to see that.

 

I have to agree, you are gonna get more power cheaper out of a 2.4 as opposed to a 2.0. They are the same basic car.

yeah it would be cheaper too built a 400h/p srt-4 but it would not be as cool

 

they don't have that article on their site yet... from what i can remember he had JE internals a custom shortrunner intake (doen't look at all like the indy... its a one piece with the tb facing straight out the side instead of up) standalone, crane number 14 cam, big injectors (I think 880cc) walbro 255gph pump, along with an additional inline pump, the normal gauges and that kinda stuff... it also had the SRT 4 front clip... but other then the front clip it was pretty mild looking no stickers, wings just a carbon fiber hood (oem srt4 style)... yeah it would be cheaper and easier just to buy an srt-4 but I can about garantee that he is paying a hell of a lot less for insurence then anyone with an srt4... If I built a car like that I would have left the stock front body panels on and made one hell of a sleeper... oh by the way it has run low 11s.. pretty wicked for a base 2.0 neon lol....

 

it looks like hes has change a couple things since those shots were taking... they don't show his hood or carbon fiber trunk lid... which in mho makes it look hella cleaner

Yeah that car is sick. I've heard of it before. Just plain awesome....
