alright, so forgive me if i'm just reasking a question, but i haven't been on this sight in quite awhile. i've been getting frustrated with the ecu lately at the way it just brings your hp back to stock after awhile of driving. i put the aem cold air intake in and it worked great for awhile, but now it just seems to make more noise and stock hp. i heard from a friend that when you get a chip they basically just rewrite what's on your ecu's hard drive. is this true? and if so, will this fix the problem?

eh, a good perminent way is a JET Piggy Back ECU. It uses stock limitations yes, but it optimises your fuel/air ratio to take advantage of all those nice little bolt ones you have put on.
This is the biggest Obstical for us NGC guys as we have no real alternative aside from piggy backs. Which, my friend, is pretty cruddy.[:'(]

I dont' know how much of this NGC bullcrap I believe. People keep saying your car is going to slow down after you mod it. Well its been almost two years now since I started modding it. I take it to the drag strip multiple times a year and by what people are saying I should be slowing down. Instead I'm speeding up.....I do agree that it is doing something negative. I think it does limit the potential of the car, thats what it feels like anyway.
