I have a 2000 neon es with a factory cassete. I found a factory cd player out of the same year car at the bone yard. Can I swap them out without any problems? Will my factory cassete harness plug into the factory cd player and work with no mods? Thanks.

 

i am not sure on a 00 but my 02 i had to buy a adaptor to go from the factory cassette to a cd player, i got it from my dodge dealer for about thirty five dollars

 

It should plug right in, but if not just get the adapter.

 

Its done. If anyone was wondering, it plugged right in. The plugs were in different locations on the back but they were the same.
