i was reading the thread that some guy posted earlier asking about this part that he drew a box around in his pic and whyte69 called it a corrugated breathing tube...my CAI is made by K&N and as several other guys posted this doesnt come with a replacement for the rubber looking one (not sure what its actually made of) but i know that the AEM does...is it worth the time fabricating one of these to fit the other side of the TB...i would that that if its worth the effort....why wouldnt K&N add it to their air box replacement set??

I doubt it will make much of a difference. Maybe 1hp tops. I probably wouldn't even bother trying to fab up something. I have a K&N as well and have intentions on replacing it at the moment.
