Default RE: Timing belt cover

A junk yard wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm going to see what I'm going to do b/c I'm going to get my cam, cam gear, and valve springs installed this weekend unless otherwise. The guy at the dealership said one of the top timing belt covers runs around 27 and the other is around 33. If I would get one from them, I would go in to see what I'm buying before I buy it. I'm sure the dealership has pics of the covers.
I'll see if I can take some pics; that'll depend if I'm there watching him install everything. Worst case scenario, I might just leave the covers off. That wouldn't be a bad idea would it?

leaving them off is not the best of ideas, something could get caught and cause some problems.

I left the one off of my 83 shelby. And ended up cutting the coil wire in half. whoops. LOL
