Default Timing belt cover

Are there any aftermarket timing belt covers that look better than stock out there. It would be nice if there was one out there that has an opening around the cam gear so I can make repeated adjustments to the cam gear.
Thanks.

I just took a big hole saw and cut mine out, so I could get to my cam gear.

Good idea. What year Neon do you have? The reason I was asking was b/c it looks so tight around my cam gear area. Is it hard for you to access that area so you can adjust the timing?

Mine is a 2000. It is still not easy but you can make it work.

Where can u find a stock timing belt cover from. I recently noticed that mine is cracked. I'll probably modify that one.

I have not seen any aftermarket ones. You could modify a stock one though.

I called the Dodge dealership today and they said they have a bottom timing belt cover and two top timing belt covers. I thought there was just one timing belt cover but I was wrong. My goal is to just purchase the cover that goes right over the cam gear so I can customize it for repeated adjustments of the cam gear. Would I need to purchase the top timing belt cover? Also as far as the top timing belt covers, would I need to purchase both of them or what?

I would suggest going to a junk yard for them, the dealer is gonna bend you over on them. You can proballly get them from the JY for $10-$20.

I think I used a hole saw big enough to see the cam gear marks and get to the nut's. It only took a few min to do, when I put the cam gear in and timing belt in. My wife has the car at work or I would go measure it and tell you what size it was. I think it was about 4"
