My after market air intake, air cleaner ended up right behind where the left driving light would be on my 2000 Neon . So I put screen where the driving light would be, to get more air into the intake. It wouldn't help at low speeds. But at high speeds I figure every little bit will help.

 

have any pics to offer? What kind of screen are you talking about? Is it just a grill that filters debris or is it a flat piece of plastic that re-directs air towards your air intake?

 

I don't have pictures. But the screen has 1/4 inch openings. You can get at any hardware store. The only thing I want to do is put rubber flappers on the plastic in the fender so the air will go strait thru and not leave a dead air pocket where the air filter is.
