I have a '04 Neon SXT and am looking into changing the turn signal bulbs in my headlights. I'm not sure which kind i have to get, so is there anybody that has an idea??? Thanks for the help.

 

Silverstars for sure...the bulbs are cool blue/purple color but blink orange like stockers. I think the front turn signal number is 3157AST for the Silverstars. Rears are 3157 or 3157LL(long life).

They look really nice. I Bought the Super White ones, but they come in other colors too and blend in no matter what color you get.

yeah those are the ones i have (not sure about the part number) bought them from advanced auto for cheaper than modern performance . but when i went for state inspection they told me they were illegal.

so i found someone else to pass me

 

I think i'll just keep the stockers in case they won't pass me, so i can switch them back for inspection. I'm about to be stationed in Camp Lejeune NC, so i think the marine corps base is a little more strict on NC state inspections. Whatever though.

 

yeah i kept mine for that reason. i was just lucky enough to find someone to pass me so i wouldnt have to go through the trouble of switching them (not that its hard, i am just lazy.)

i am from VA and i believe NC tends to be a little less strict than VA, but like you said if you are at Camp Lejeune they might be strict.
