You may have to modify a portion of the piping to get the new header on. The stock exhaust manifold isn't very long. So the new header will probably require a small portion of the piping (before the cat) to be cut, and some sort of adapter welded on. If you get a longer tube header, then the cat will have to be either moved or removed, both of which are illegal in all 50 states (Federal law, states can't override). Other than that, running with a header is not going to damage any of the piping or components (cat, muffler) in the rest of the piping.

Best of luck!

To my understanding OBX and Borla Headers are a direct replacement. No welding required...and no there won't be any damage.

Well there not the greatest quality when you compare them to Borla's...but they are cheap and will last you a while.

I wanted top go with Pacesetter, just because Im working on a budget. Youre right, they arent the best quality compared to Borla. But, if youre like me and working on a budget and wanna get what you can afford, Id go with Pacesetter.

The Pacesetter is a nice upgrade. Later down the line you're going to have to buy another header b/c they don't last forever.
