Default starting the car

Hello there. When I start my car it sometimes takes me about 5 or 6 times to start the car. It will not even turn over and just shut down. I have a five speed and having many problems with it. Please help if anyone has had the same problem.

Mine will not stay on either. It acts as if the battery is dead. My car has only 4600 miles on it. I highly doubt that the battery is the issue.

Do not rule out a battery problem happens to them all. There are only 3 battery manufactueres for example Johson Controls makes die hard interstate motorcraft ect.... So Mopar does not make the battery. Plus if the car sat on the lot for a long time not uncommon for a poorly charged bettery to be a problem. If you jump a dead battey you cannot fully charge it with an alternator. Needs a proper charger. If you have a charger then try a trickle charge over night.

Could also be a problem wwitht he key not being icked up properly try the other key and see if that helps. You may need to visit DODGE.

sounds like a sentry key problem. does it start and die in 3 seconds? If it does your key needs programmed.
