i know little if any about cars. i am trying to hook up my neon. a friend is selling me a turbo for 500. its brand new still in the package. how do i know if it will fit my 2004 sxt sohc? the recomende size is a 2.6 for neons and his is a 2.7 and how the hell do i mount this thing?? hes talking about remote mounting and all this other stuff

 

There is alot of crap you have to do to get everything just right and you nedd alot more parts than just the turbo. You are probably better off having a profeesional do it.

 

Pick up a copy of Corky Bell's "Maximum Boost".

Do you even know what turbo it is? T-3, Super 16G, etc.? I have no idea what is meant by "2.6 recommended for the Neon", I think your friend is just trying to offload a part for quick cash, and suckering you into it... Remote mounting... c'mon now! I'd say skip the purchase, and save your money for something that is designed to work with your car.
