will swap in, motor and tranny should drop right in. only issue i have heard of is with computer (but i havent really heard this discussed since the srt came out in 03) but stage up your es and keep the stock es appearance as much as possible and.... instant sleeper

I had origionally considered doing this... but while i was away for a while my wife bought an srt... had to see it in my driveway in pictures for 5 months before i finally got to drive it!!!

it will swap in, not directlly though. You are gonna have to get a wiring harness and PCM.

 

How hard is the wiring harness sawp... and has anybody found a reliable resource for SRT-4 motors?... not just parts

The best way to do it is buy a wrecked SRT-4 (one that was totalled from the rear obviously) for $4k-$6k...you'll have everything you need to do the swap...i would imagine if you took it to a shop they would charge at least $1,000-$1,500 for a complete swap and install.
