Default Ignition Coil from Screamin Demon

Should I get the igniton coil from Screamin Demon? If I get that, I'll most likely get the Crane wires and Accel spark plugs? My coil is fine but I would be doing this to help my performance.

You probally won't notice the difference in performance. IF I remember right the screamin demon is a little better than stock, but not by much

The SD coil isn't bad at all. I've noticed a much better throttle response in my ride and have had it in for roughly 25K miles. The only thing you have to be mindful of is that with the hotter spark the SD coil gives, you need to gap your plugs from at LEAST .045 to their recommended .065. It's not a bad investment overall.

I believe the factory gap is .35, is it not?

Factory gap is .035" and yes those screamin demon guys ask for .065" so with new plugs and good wires you should be able to get the larger gap. If fired correctly can burn the A/F mix better and more completely thus giving a touch of power as well as lower emissions. Theoretically.

He was comfortable trying .045 and found it works good for him.
