Default timing belt

Anybody know of a good cheap(in price) place where they sell a timing belt kit?? including the tensioner and water pump and all that other good stuff? BTW, i have a 00 neon, sohc. thanks.

might not be the way you wanna go, but i found those kits on ebay yesterday for just over 100.00

what do you mean by "might not be the way you wanna go"?? Yeah i have seen those ebay ones too but how do i know which one is mine, i see plenty online that say vin number "c", but my vin number starts with: 1b3es46c..... and what not, the only c in my vin number is that c in the middle of my whole vin number?? thanks.

I always see this in some too: " Timing Conversion Hydraulic to Mechanical Tensioner". <-----What does this mean??

i ment that some people dont like to get stuff off of ebay, or that they dont trust it....so ebay isnt the way those people would go

O ok. I bought my CAI off ebay and its not that bad, i guess its all a manner of beeing careful from who you buy it from and really look at what you buy there, but off the ebay subject, can someone help me with my previous questions-----^ thanks.

1b3es....so is it a dohc??........i think you just need a mechanical tensioner but im not sure.....the c in the middle should be the one they are talkin about....maybe a second gen person knows more about this
