My cousin has the 05 sxt and I'm gonna do an install for him...I own a different make car and browse a different forum for it..so I can say that this is an informative forum and I've already found lots of useful information...We're gonna put in a Premier 480mp, cdt 6.5 coaxials, cdt 6x9 mid-subwoofers and a 4 channel dei amp....haven't done an install on a neon and I'm not a pro...so anything you guys here could share with me due to your experience? I've read on here how to get the door panels off, rear deck and that there's a nice plug by the gas pedal in the firewire for the power wire! So now comes the deck...anybody run me through exactly how they removed the factory deck? Also is the harness adapter plug-n-play, or is there any tricks to it? I have heard about the antenna adapter..anyway I appreciate any help you can give me and I bow to your knowledge of the neon!!!!lol

Hey BDM, love is a strong word ya know?? For real though thanks for the link...that's bad ***!! Also I noticed on that page the pictures of the component system install....my cousin never mentioned the dash speakers! In fact I asked him and he said there wasn't any! Plans might have changed now...I'm going to try and convince him to get a comp set and maybe use those cdt 6x9 midwoofers in the rear deck! Thanks again bro, very very helpful!
