Ok My name is Chris i have a 05 electric blue neon SXT with a 5 spd tran. i just bought a couple of months ago. Im just now getting put back together, because i bought it with collision damage. Im wanting to start modding as soon as possible. The first thing i want to do is Exhaust...because i hate where its so quiet. Anyway the main reason for this post is this:
Does anyone have this exhaust or has anyone heard this exhaust on one of our neons?

I like the look of it, but im also looking at the Vibrant and pacesetter.

Also has anyone ever used or heard of these Coil overs for our cars?
They are Dropzone coilovers....damn....i lost the website, i ordered a set off ebay for my car that a guy bought for his neon before he wrecked it. They have never been used. I was wondering what all i will need for the install.....they didnt come with the struts, just the springs and an bunch of other parts.
Anyone got any info??

well on the exhaust i myself went with magnaflow exhaust. It is not loud but has a deep sound to it.

 

Well that would be nice...I dont want a really loud ricey sound. Where can i buy the magnaflow...is there a website?

 

i went with the mopar Neon R/T exhaust for my SXT, gives it a little more kick to the sound, is easy to install (an axle-back, just 1 hanger) and mad cheap if you get it pulled from an R/T. I think I spent like $90 on mine.

 

Well that would be nice but its hard to find the R/T model Neon around here.....even in the first Gen. But hey i might give it a try if i find one

 

I might have an R/T exhaust for sale in two weeks to a month...as for the coilovers, the dropzones are sleeved coilovers and will have a terrible ride...although they will drop the car like you want...

 

think twice before dropping your neon, I have mine lowered on Eibachs and I just ran over a manhole cover today and it ripped a hole in my transmission fluid pan. i was purging fluid like kate moss purges sandwiches. towed to the dealer, going on vacation tomorrow so the car will likely sit there for an entire week. i only dropped 1.5", hopefully I can make a case that the roadwork was shoddy and the manhole cover was sitting too high. probably not, but worth it. sucks though.

 

that sucks about your car. I would hate to have to go through something like that. Im a poor kid anyway..lol So my car would more than likely sit longer than a week. The only reason i want to lower my car is because im getting bigger rims put on it. I already dont like the 4wheel drive look of it anyway so i would hate to see it on 17's Which is what im wanting to get for it. I dont know why my car looks higher than other neons. I also have a 2003 silver sxt model and it looks lower than my 2005 sxt. I dont know what the deal is but it looks terrible. I will have to get you guy some pics. It might be awhile since i had my digital camera stolen [:@] BUt ill post some pics soon...

Oh and anyone wanna tell me more about the vibrant exhaust???? Anyone??
