ha ha 350 ponys in a neon se... with a 2.0 hahahaha money cant buy that, nor can boost. like most other threds in here say... do one of two things, sell your car and buy a srt-4, or put a srt-4 motor in your car. that is if any of this is true.... which it does not seem to be.

Now where is that link to the 400whp 2.0L neon... [sm=laughat.gif]

you know......that guy REALLY didnt sound like he knew what he was talking about, but there ARE 4cyl engines that pump out that kind of horsepower.

Like lblackneon just showed.

example, 2.0 liter......Honda. Honda has the K-series iVtec engine that size that has 197-200hp stock w/o turbo or any power adder (even though they had years perfecting the DOHC Vtec system from the B-Series). HKS, Turboneticts, and even GReddy have turbo kits pertty cheap for the power that can get that engine to 300 hp easly.

now mind me, those ARE Honda engines which, even STOCK, are better than our Neon engines, with a 2.0Liter, our Neons have the ability there. It's just a bit harder, and more costly to reach for us.

I just don't understand why you would sell a supra for a neon. WTF. I like my neon a lot...but if I had supra I sure as hell wouldn't downgrade to a neon. You'll spend a lot to hit 400whp, but you can do it. It will be easier with a 2.4L though.

First thing is first; he didn't say what year the Supra was. If it was a 1994 Supra or up then I wouldn't trade it for a neon but it was older than that, I wouldn't have a problem trading my Supra for a Neon.

Actually, Roach was selling that complete engine with the entire turbo setup for $6,300 last month...so yes, it is posible to get 400whp out of a 2.0 Neon and you dont need $10k+...now if you were shooting for a 500whp 2.0, well that would cost a bit more. But like has already been said, the 2.4l will work better in achieving those types of numbers.

Where did you hear the fact that he was selling the engine? Is he selling the car too? What's the deal?
