Default Cooling issues

my car gets so hot on my daily commute , and then it sucks down gas like that unlce that everyone has does beer at an open bar. this makes me mad. is there any way of cooling this thing down even a little?

I took out the stirafoam behind my grill and it helped cool my car alot!

I belive it is, but i really dont think a 2' thick piece of stirafoam is going to change the outcome of a crash.
